Appreciate your input on this thread. I would like to take a moment to provide you additional logic as to why creating agreement in ECC using standard integration may not help:
Sourcing Award / Contract Award: While we would source the price (bundle or tier pricing etc..), we also make it mandatory for suppliers to respond to other Terms such as Lead Time, Firm Zone, Consignment (Y/N) and more. In todays world we have a custom ECC program which reads an XL file with not only the basic award parameters like (Unit price, Qty), etc..but all other additional details such as Lead time, Firm zone etc.. and this program, creates a Contract (Quantity Agreement, or Scheduling Agreement or Schedule Consignment Agreement etc ) and also UPDATES master data objects in ECC such as Lead time, Firm Zone in Material Master (basis supplier response).
I hope this explains the need for the Pricing Term (from Contracts) to be downloaded into a single tab for all Item Terms (standard terms such as Price, Qty, and custom terms such as Lead time, Firm zone etc..).
Question 1) Is there a way to have these custom terms to be included in the "Contract Item Information Tab" as against the "Item attributes tab" in the XL
Question 2) Is there any other suggestion or alternate to overcome this?
