POSITION: Senior Sourcing Services Manager, eSourcing

Supervises: Sourcing Manager, Associate Sourcing Manager
BASIC PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Effectively lead the TopSource eSourcing team to ensure and advise best practices and procedures in all phases of the eSourcing process including: supplier and contract management, auction strategy development, Rfx/auction design and build, supplier training, event management, and post event analysis. Act as the lead eSourcing consultant with internal stakeholder departments as they adopt various eSourcing offerings.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the successful execution of the eSourcing plan across all Topco business units. Ensure events are designed to maximize savings and are completed in committed time frames.
2. Influence internal stakeholder understanding and utilization of all eSourcing modules. This includes introduction, customized development, training, consulting, and ongoing support as needed.
- Manage the development of direct reports including frequent counseling and timely feedback on performance.
- Assist in the marketing of the eSourcing offerings to members and customers. Participate in member visits and demonstrations. Develop collateral to communicate the value proposition effectively (e.g. press releases, articles, sell sheets, etc).
- Present yourself as the category expert to clients
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Successful performance of these job functions should result in:
- Successful team guidance in driving further eSourcing utilization in the following areas; Auctions, RF(x), Supplier Management, and Contract Management.
- Driving value for all constituents – Members, Customers, Suppliers, and Topco.
- Timely completion of all assigned projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferably in an analytical or business discipline (Accounting/ Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.), MBA Preferred
Technical Skills:
·Ability to utilize professional business software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
·Ability to use, or learn to use, Topco business systems
·Experience with eSourcing platforms such as Ariba, Emptoris, Bravo, Zycus, etc;
·Understanding of the reverse auction process with related technology skills
Previous experience:
· Experience working within a structured strategic sourcing process
· Demonstrated ability in strategy development, negotiation and problem solving
·3-5 years experience managing others
·Five plus years business experience analyzing complex data
· Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of projects
·Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and the flexibility to adjust to demands of the job
·Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.

·Professional certification preferred ie; Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
