ARIBA APPROVAL FLOW X RELEASE STRATEGY

We have the Release strategy in ECC and the customer wanted to have an approval flow as close as possible from the ECC.

Is it possible for example to export the release strategy in ECC and only import those rules into Aproval flow for purchase orders for example ?

or for Ariba the details of those approval flow are not so deep as the release strategy in SAP ECC ?
