User needs to have "Template Creator" Role/Group .In order to create a generic Template for Contract/Sourcing go to Manage>Template>Action>Create>Template.
However, before you proceed with template creation you need to understand the requirement of contract such as task, documents and team members.
Based on your current contracting process you can define tasks, document and team members.
prior to creating a new contract template. Just take a look into any of the existing Contract template in order to know about how the task, documents and team members are being defined.( Manage-Template- Document tab-View any of the contract template that exist in your system) open the template.
