Hi David,
Have you created any transactions for that field? If not please create a contract workspace with some value in that new field and the next day the data for that field should be available in the analytical report.
Also, you might have already checked this but you might want to double check if you have added the field in the same contract workspace for which you are looking up in the analysis facts. for eg. If you added a field in abstract contract workspace then it will be available in all contract workspace types but say you added the field in CW type Procurement you want see it in CW type Sales.
